OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD. SHOULD CHRISTIANS REJOICE?

I have heard more than one believer in Christ already in conflict of emotion over the death of Osama bin Laden. Should Christians rejoice? Part of you wants to be happy that justice has been served. The other part of you is sensitive over the eternal plight of the wicked. Be assured, dear believer, that one emotion does not have to be at the exclusion of the other:

(Psa 103:6) The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.

(Eze 18:23) Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord GOD, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?

Thank you Pastor Louie. As a Christ follower in Jordan who lives five minutes from where his group sent suicide bombers to a wedding, I agree.

There have been at least three terrorists who Jesus appeared to in dreams to convict them of their sin. They repented and now know Him.

There is no one beyond the long reach of His arm, and although I am glad he cannot hurt anyone anymore, and was angry over all the destruction he wrought, I also mourn that he chose death. I remember how close I was to choosing death too.
