Today we went up to the north secton of Israel. This is the Golan Heights area that borders Syria and Lebanon. Jesus was in this area about six months prior to his crucifixion.
Who said Israel was a dry, desert country?

From this place of Caesarea Phillipi Jesus said He was the Rock! Can you see why?
(Mat 16:18) "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

This is a bunker site on the Israeli-Syrian/Lebanese border. Though it was used in the past it is now a tourist site. You can walk around underground. It's really cool. It was foggy so we couldn't see over the border or see Mount Hermon in the north but it would look like this:
