Last night we had the privilege of having Jan Pane (one of our GO! missionaries) share about her ministry to AIDS orphans in Johannesburg, South Africa. It challenged us all to reach out right where we are at. The time is short and God has a ministry for us all.(James 1:27) Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Let's keep Jan in our prayers for a refreshing time in the U.S. and then for new strength in the Lord to return to Africa and fulfill the ministry God has put on her heart.
(2 Tim 4:5) But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
